helllo....i was refused visa twice at delhi consulate more
than 2 years back under section 214b...i was a fresh passout
from my college and wasnt employed...i wanted to go to US
for my national board dental exam...i was rejected in may
and july 2010 respectively...now i have been invited by Ny
dental department to attend a conference in november 2012
(23-28th november) and present a presentation on the topic i
reseacrhed in india after my graduation...i have received
the invitation letter from them as well...i have registered
myself for the confernce too...
right now i am employed in various aspects:-
1. I run my own private dental clinic more than 1.8 years back
2. i work for aa rotary club hospiatl as a consultant doctor
3. I work for 3 private nursing homes as an on call dental
surgeon.
I have attended many conferences in india relating to my
profession dentistry but not overseas..
and im engaged already in march 2012 and my marriage is in
january 2013....
do i have a stronger case to apply this year an as i have
faced the rejection scene twice im still afraid to apply
again...
and do i write marital status as single in application form
Ds-160 or in others box with enagaged in it.

I am an army officer i applied for tourist visa last 2013 but got denied. During the interview i wear formal civilian clothes and not much questions was ask by the consul. I have relatives in the US as my contact person. What should i do to pass the interview and get the visa?
we planned our trip to us on june 15th 2009(booked the roundtrip ticket). we got an appoinment on june 8th 2009 for the interview.we can show all the documents clearly.but my doubt is only with the financial background.At present we saved 65000sr.could anyone say howmuch we have to show in our account for the interview or this money is enough.expecting a reply fast. thanks maya

I applied for F1 a year back.Spouse name and DOB in F1 DS-156 is not matching with my currenct B1/B2 DS-156.is it a problem? Can any one please help me in comming out from this issue?Can this be a reason for VO in issuing me a 221g?
Why do you want to visit US?
A week back I had applied for B2 visa, as my husband is there in US for a short business trip on B1 visa. But they rejected my visa on clause 214(b). Am thinking of applying again after a week more(After a gap of 15 days). But wondering how probable are my chances of getting the visa this time? Shud I wait for some more time? Wot shud I reply to him abt- Why were u rejected visa initially? Need help nd guidance on this. Its urgent.
Where will you stay in US?
I will be travelling to the U.S, LA in 22 January 2010. I will hve to another ceremony on 15th May , other ceremony on 21st July. I hve a support of affadavit gor the visit. But the stay exceeds the limit. Is there any way to extend my stay til August 2010? I hve visited US in 1997. Should I eneter in January and return to India? Will I be allowed to enter in April again?
