Assuming that the question is correct, first of all, there
is no debit side or credit side to any Balance Sheet.
Balance Sheet is not an account. It is a Statement.
Therefore, there can not be a debit side or credit side to
a Balance Sheet.
It you mean it be Asset Side, any Reserve must show a
credit balance. Moreover, Reserve means retained profit.
Therefore, there can not be any reserve that can be shown
on the Asset side of the Balance Sheet. However, if there
is an investment against the reserve, the investment will
appear on the Asset side of the Balance Sheet. For example
Sinking Fund Investments.

Capital reserve which is mainly held for further investment .. Also could be revaluation reserve where the value of the asset had appreciated.
