ok...we can take one 500 rupee note...nine 50 rupee
note...tat sums to 950 having 10 notes...and the rest we can
use coins...bcoz they havent mentined tat there should be no
coins r exactly 10 notes should sum up tat 1000
rupees.....so....i think..my answer can be right....agree?

He said that we should not use ten hundreds,So we have must
have to go for a 500 note. And let the remaining be 100 and
50 notes. And assume that 500 notes are x and 100 notes are
y and 50 notes are z. Then
500x+100y+50z=1000 ------(1)
x+y+z=10 -----(2)
multiplying (2) with 100 on both sides, it becomes
100x+100y+100z=1000 -----(3)
solving (1)&(3) gives
8x=z
least possible values of (x,z) are (1,8)
from (2) by substituting the values of x and z, y = 1.
So one 500 note and one 100 note and eight 50 notes can be used.

Practically it is not possible :

But it gives an illusion that we have to make Rs.10 in such
a way that it gives 1000.
So, the answer is : 100 no. of 10 rupees note i.e 1000

with out even 1 100 rs note its not possible bcoz
we can definitely say that there should be 1 500 note . then u have 9 possibilities 9*50 its only 450 ......
