How long does it takes to get the approval notice from the USCIS cousulate for H1-B filled application. If i am not wrong its 12 weeks. can anyone confirm on this?. Thanks

i have attended h1b on 23rd of this month at chennai consulate.VO gave me 221(g) blue form and asked me to drop all the docs which she was ticked.my problem is i didn't kept the copies of ds-156,157,.....i tried to download from vfs site.but while providing the information i got invalid mother's name even i entered it correctly.what i have to do?how can i get these documents.please help me.
My husband had to go to Switzerland for work for a week,and also get his H1b Stamping from there. Now the consulate there said it would take 3 weeks to process, do you think it would create a problem. They have also asked for his resume???? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE suggest....he's not stuck cos cant enter US...shuld he go back to india or stay in switzerland to process it???

I have done MCA in 2004,has been into IT and ITES for past 3 years.I worked as Team Lead for .net,j2ee programmers.I didnt went in that way,since i was not into programming .net or j2ee.Hence I have done ABAP recently.Iam now looking for ABAP openings.During a process, I came to know about H1B jobs.Some consultancies in hyd,chennai does process h1b.They take fee of more than 1L and they bring the documents that we have been selected to their onsite company in usa.We go to consulate and get stamped.Once we reach usa,they market our resume again to get the right job.Once we get the job,we pay them % monthly.The 1L which we pay initial is refunded.What do you think about this process?Can anyone suggest whether I can go for that or not?Please provide your valuable inputs. am going to attend the H1B visa interview for US in the October. i am testing engineer. I would like to know that US company which filing my HIB is a consulting company,having 27 employees. They provided me all the documents,Ina come tax papers employees salary details,photos,Offer letter except Client papers. is it problem for me in embassy
