what is the difference b/w gsm and cdma

GSM uses differennt frequency channels with a seperation of 200MHz, where as CDMA uses same frequency. in cdma it generates a unique pseudo random number which can be decoded by only targeted receiver. this is done for avoiding user interference( like crosstalk).
