5 tables and 10 chairs were sold for 20000.15%gain for table,10%loss on chair.overall profit rs 7..

Answer / singh.akash

let CP of 1 table be x and chair be y
SP of table = 5.75x, SP of chair=9Y
Given that total profit is Rs.750 thus 9y+5.75x-5x-10y=750 eqn 1
also 5x+10y=20000
on solving both equations we get
x=2200
i.e. cost of one table is Rs.2200
