Answer / l.raghuraman15

In AutoCAD we are drafting the jobs in 2-D which may not
give the clear view of the object. But in Pro-e we can get
clear view of the object in 3-D. By using ANSYS we can save
the materials since we can apply and get results without
destructing the materials.

By using these softwares we are analysing a job without
wasting the material. But eventhough the jobs were analysed
using softwares they are performing a practical operation.
Why? Whether they are checking the results got in that
softwares?

Answer / mustansir pancha

Whatever you draw in autocad can be drafted on an engg
drawing sheet also. The advantage of using softwares is to
make it understandable to a worker too. This is done by
converting the 2-d drawing into 3-D. Thus the skill level of
the worker required reduces.
Ansys software is an analysis software that gives an
approximate answer of whether the product can withstand the
design conditions. The result obtained is multiplied by a
safety factor in the end and thus this eliminates rigorous
physical testing of the product manually, saving time and money.
