goals for rehabilitation for iincreasing ROM stretching of
muscles, static stretching should be preferred as it
decreases myotatic reflex, peripheral neuromuscular
facilitation techniques should b used. muscle energy
techniques especially agonist isometric relaxation which
works under principle of reciprocal inhibition, agonist
contraction with post facilitated stretching, anatgonist
isometric contraction working under principle of reciprocal
inhibition. myofascial release techiques if fascia is
adherent underlying muscle which reduces the ROM.
proprioception shud b taught by close kinetic chain
training, wii rehabilitation, taping at stretched position.
