One grand father has 3 grand children two of the age difference is 3.Eldest child age is 3 times t..

Answer / shin

Assume x is the age of the youngest, 3x is the age of elder, y is the age of the 2nd kid.
Given 3x = 2 + x + y.

Given two of the age difference is 3.
If y = x + 3, then 3x = 2 + x + (x + 3), x = 5.
If y = 3x - 3, then 3x = 2 + x + (3x - 3), x = 1.

If x = 5, y = 8, elder = 15 age.
If x = 1, y = 0, elder = 5 age. (which is wrong).

Hence, the age of the elder is 15.
