in thermal power plant we use to maintain the same rpm what
the generator need because we have a tolerance in frequency
of 50Hz so no were we use to maintain the higher RPM in
turbine if it so there will be a speed reducer gear through
which the turbine shaft is conected to generator shaft

basically the turbine connect with generator and initially
high torque will produce so the turbine rpm more than
generator and it give constant power
