If Informatica server and client are in one machine, then
we can place it in local folder.other wise,
But I strongly, recommend that better place the files to be
imported to the designer in
<directory>:/informatica/...../Src /<.csv file>

Flat File Should Be there in Client Machine with sample
data to import the flat file definition along with correct
datatypes.

You can place the flat file on your local system.
Go to Source Analyser > Click on the Source > Import from
File and then browse to the file that you want to use as a
source.

source table A having 100000 records. and target B table having 100000 records. now iam updating B records using update query. i don't know which record is update in target. write a sql query get all updated records from target table B.
