A long thin strip of width 7cm is kept on a flat surface.
Another identical strip is kept on it in an overlapping
manner such that the combined width of the two is 11 cm.
What is the width of 55 such strips kept like this?

11cm is combined width for 2 strips ,
11-7= 4cm is extra width for each overlapped strip.
Hence 4*53 = 212 (Remaining 53 strips)
212 + 11 = 223 (Previous 2 strips)

1st two strips are 11cm so the 2nd strip is 4 cms so for 2 strips it is 11cm and in the simila way for 27 piars (7+4)=54 strips is equal to 297 so at last again 7cm strips cums so 297+7 =304 is the ans
