11cm is combined width for 2 strips ,

11-7= 4cm is extra width for each overlapped strip.

Hence 4*53 = 212 (Remaining 53 strips)

212 + 11 = 223 (Previous 2 strips)

1st two strips are 11cm so the 2nd strip is 4 cms so for 2 strips it is 11cm and in the simila way for 27 piars (7+4)=54 strips is equal to 297 so at last again 7cm strips cums so 297+7 =304 is the ans
