How long will a train 100m long traveling at 72kmph take to
overtake another train 200m long traveling at 54kmph?

Answer / debabrata pal
Since, the two trains are travelling in the same
direction,the relative speed is : 72-54=18Kmph or 5m/sec
Distance travelled to overtake is equal to the sum of
length's of the two trains : 100 + 200 = 300m
Time taken by the faster train to overtake the slower train is :
Time taken = (distance travelled/relative speed)
=300/5
=60sec
=1min
