i got my ielts band overall score as 6.5. But in Reading
alone i got 5.5 band and for other components got 6.5 each.
Is it possible to apply for Aussie visa with this or do i
have to write ielts once again?

you can definitely apply for visa,but before applying for visa first check wether is there any college or Uni that is offering that score. i believe there are few as such.
