The answer is 150m.
Let the length of the train be x metres and its speed by y
m/sec.
Then,
x/y = 15 => y = x/15 .
Therefore
(x + 100)/25 = x/15
=> 15(x + 100) = 25x
=> 15x + 1500 = 25x
=> 1500 = 10x
=> x = 150 m.

if we consider the length of the train to be x meters and the speed of the train be ykm/h then the time taken by the train to cross the electric pole =x/y which equals 15(given).now as we proceed ,we know that the length of the platform is 100 meters so,
100+x/25=x/15
15(x+100)=25x
15x+1500=25x
15x-25x=1500
-10x=1500
x=-150 meters,
which we can consider as 150 meters.

Then x/y = 15 [because distance/speed = time]
=> y = 15/x
=>(x+100)/25=x/15
x=150 meters
So length of the train is 150 meters

needs to traval 200m
to cover the station
(when the train travals
100m its fully inside
the station)
it took 25s to cover
this distance. So speed
of train is
200m/25s=8m/s
