Hello friends this is the answer :
From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. its 12 hours and since you loose 30 seconds each hour you multiply 12 by 30 which gives you 360. That means you lost 360 seconds. Then convert that to minutes which is 360/60 which gives you 6. So that means you lost 6 minutes. Subtract the 6 minutes from 8 p.m. and you get 7:54 p.m.

12hrs x 30sec= 360
360/60= 6
8:00-0:06= 7:54
