i have read that "non-reusable actions can not be called in any other test".but in 'call to copy action' copies non-reusable action in other test also..can u pls help to understand this..

There is one login screen,after accepting valid username and apassword, it will show the next screen. In the 2nd screen u r having 2 combo boxes, U have to select any item from these, and click OK button. After closing that, it will show the 3rd screen. If u click CANCEL button from 2nd screen it will show the first screen. Write QTP script for it???

Hello, I am working on automating unix application using QTP via terminal emulator.Recording and playback works as i execute my test case. I need to parameterise my data now. Steps to be followed 1. go to the application TeWindow("TeWindow").Window("Connect").WinButton ("Connect").Click 2. Make a transaction to an account I am able to make transaction one at a time (one person when i run the script) and the script is as below and works fine. Hi all , I am new at QTP I want a sample script to check validation messages(For java script or VB script) for login page with for web based application.. Any one can Help. I have to complete it in two days I need urgent help.. Ex. if I want to check mail.yahoo.com 1 > If user doed not exist it display "Username does not exist" 2> if invalid Uname and password then it display" Invalid Uname or pass" 3> Loing Sucssessfully. I want to check this types of application by using data table to give values of username and password.. Thanks
