you cannot apply for dependent visa since your purpose of
travel is only for family visit. You need to apply for B1B2
visa.

Yes, you cant visit your son as a visitor to USA. Please
ask your son to send you Affidavit of Support form I-134
and his salary slip for six months, if he is tax payer in
United States then copy of his income-tax return, his bank
statement for last six months, letter from the employer,
copy of his passport first page, last page and visa page.

Hello, My name is Sam, i was refused the B2 visa today from the usa embassy in singapore. I am from africa and i'm currently on full scholarship in computing with all my fees and accomodation plus stipends paid for the duration of the course 3yrs from my government. I wanted to go to the usa and see my family friend for my upcoming 1 week vacation in august and what i mentioned above was suppose to be my ties to bring me back to singapore. i answered all the consul questions correctly and calmly and i had $4200 in my account for this trip. The consul asked how much i thought the whole trip would cost and i answered $2500 since i was going to stay with my family friend. He also asked me how i knew this my family friend. After that, he said he's sorry he cannot grant the visa because i have only stayed in singapore for 4months. I want to re apply but i need advice on what to do.. Please any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I have already 5yrs B1/b2 visa. I have visited US in Aug10. now i want to travel with my family (wife & 4months old daughter) ? What are the chances for them ? what documents should i submit for them ?

i have rejected 3 time from us in 2009 for f1 student visa and now i applied for visitor visa (b2) for US , is there possibility of rejection ,my interview date is 7th April 2014
we planned our trip to us on june 15th 2009(booked the roundtrip ticket). we got an appoinment on june 8th 2009 for the interview.we can show all the documents clearly.but my doubt is only with the financial background.At present we saved 65000sr.could anyone say howmuch we have to show in our account for the interview or this money is enough.expecting a reply fast. thanks maya

hi sir i had apply b1 b2 visa. i done my interview about seven month later.in interview she told me that your visa has undergo in admistrative process.i visit almost ten country and also two shengen visa.but seven month later my passport has return without any stamping of visa,how can i got my visa in future and why he denied my visa.
