Hello,
My name is Sam, i was refused the B2 visa today from the usa
embassy in singapore.
I am from africa and i'm currently on full scholarship in
computing with all my fees and accomodation plus stipends
paid for the duration of the course 3yrs from my government.
I wanted to go to the usa and see my family friend for my
upcoming 1 week vacation in august and what i mentioned
above was suppose to be my ties to bring me back to singapore.
i answered all the consul questions correctly and calmly and
i had $4200 in my account for this trip.
The consul asked how much i thought the whole trip would
cost and i answered $2500 since i was going to stay with my
family friend. He also asked me how i knew this my family
friend.
After that, he said he's sorry he cannot grant the visa
because i have only stayed in singapore for 4months.
I want to re apply but i need advice on what to do..
Please any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi My husband is in USA for couple of months on B1 visa. We are having our anniversary in this suration and we want to be together. My husband will get allowance of 110$ per day which company is ready to give in writing. My husband just has 2 years of experience so has only 1 year of ITR statement and bank statements do not show heavy cash flow. But the allowance that he wil be getting from the company would be good enough for my stay and the travel. My husband also has property in his name in India whose document xerox i have. What could be the possible Q after seeing these documents? and what should be my answer.

My friend in Nevada want me to visit him. He tried filing an affidavit of support at the Immigration and Naturalization Service there but the officer told him that I should be the one to process my visitor visa application with my own documents. Does it mean Affidavit of support or invitation letter is not a requirement for applying a Visitor Visa coming from the Philippines? and will the bank deposit of $1,100.00 enough for my 3 days stay in the USA because my friend will be responsible for all of my expenses including the airfare? Thanks for the answers.
I am now 23 years old and currently working as a Software Engineer in TCS,India. My current salary is over Rupees 4 Lakhs per annum(INR). My father who is LPR in United States has filed an I-130 petition for me in june 2003 in F2A category. Since my father is still not an US citizen(as he travels frequently to US), NVC shifted me in F2B category as per CSPA rules. After this, it seems that the case will still take 2 more years. I want to visit my sisters in US(they are US citizens). Should i applied for A US Business visa? I was rejected a business visa once in 2001. My intent is only to visit them for 3 weeks for a family get together.
I am working with Private firm in India. Can anybody please tell whether I require any No Objection certificate from my employer, for applying to B2 Visa? Is it being asked by the Consulate Officer?
