What is your temperature range? if it is 0 to 500 deg. C
and no vibration in area then you can easly go for RTD with
transmitter and indicator.
How high temp. you can use J type thermocouple with
transmitter and indicator.
above 1000 dg c use K type for R type. While using
Thermocouple be carefull about Cold Junction Compensation.

What are continuances of connecting earthing and shield of branch cables (instrument to Junction box), at the same earthing pot provided on JB? Is it ok, or may produce some problem?
