* Stack supports 4 bands EGSM,PGSM,GSM-850,DCS.Mobile
originating and mobile terminating call in all those bands.

*Coding schemes etc

2)Multimedia testing
* Midi polyphonic tones ringer and player
* MP3 as ringer and player &other supported formats
* Camera
* Video Conferencing etc

*Gaming
*Fast dialling etc

Mobile Application testing deals with ONLY the various
application running on it (feature and multimedia)



PS:Mobile testing in itself does'nt really mean hardware
testing.

Mobile testing means testing the complete mobile that means
all the application a mobile can have including call
handling, audio devices support, messaging, video, audio
applications etc..,
and there you have to look into all the things like proper
performance of all application, that it one application do
not effect performance of other like video player should
not effect performance of MMS application etc..,

when you do Mobile application testing your scope is very
clear that is only one application like MMS and you have to
test that application only,here you least bother about the
other application.

in common its call mobile testing.which includes all the
possible application in the device menu modules like
messaging,contacts,call history,file manager,connectity
(network,BT,IR,USB,Wifi so on) ect.for eg consider
messaging where u find inbox,outbox,draft,sent items,saved
message,write message,settings(features vary with respect
to the model of the device).here u can also test the max
character supported(160).number of messages can be stored
in inbox,saved message,draft,outbox which in turn test the
memory for that particular module.

Testing in haradware device like Mobile is called Mobile
testing ,where as testing a particular applicution( which
is to be installed in Mobile )in using emulator is called
Mobile application testing.
