While running the reports how can we hide totals if the
users doesnot requie it?

select particular column goto properties then select box
type 'none'

To hide the totals in list report.
select that particular list report go to structure menu
uncheck the total columns. As per my knowledge it will work

Q1. We have a crosstab report which is having product, region and Revenue information. Now the requirement is that we need to add a new column with the information 'High' and 'Low' just beside the Revenue column.
