hi.. Am Deepthi and am 23 yrs old.I finished my graduation
just 3 months back. I got my admission in a Business
school.I have two months break before my school starts. So i
want to go to USA with tourist B2 visa and spend these two
months with my brother who is working in USA. I already
applied for tourist a visa just a week back and i got
rejected. So my question is can i try for visa again in a
week?.. How can i convince the visa officer that I'll surely
come back. Becoz frankly i will surely come back as i should
join my school after two months. Am going to show my MBA
admission letter as my ties to INDIA. Please advice me about
what should i say when they ask me "WHY DO YOU WANT TO GO TO
USA?".. Last time they asked me the same question. I said i
want to meet my brother who is staying in US and so am going
there... but i guess the officer was not convinced with my
answer.. So can u please tell me what is a more better
answer to this question to convince the visa officer. Please
help me..

your question is not a very hard to got answer. your brother
living in us that the only reason that u want to meet him to
go us that is not satisfied answer. you are not describe
hear that your brother have a work permit or he has student
visa u just told that your brother doing job there. first u
have to give more than two or three reasons for why you want
to go there. i give u some suggestion first u have to say
like i want to go USA for just see the country or some
selected place for just visiting like student gave some
details about the places which want to u go.than they ask
from where u get the information about it so u have the
answer that also. if u have no money problem than u take
advise from any visa agent which one u like from any agency.
LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT THAT WHEN U GO TO THE VISA OFFICE
YOUR CONFIDENCE SHOWS HOW KIND OF PEOPLE U R SO GO WITH 100%
CONFIDENCE. NOT TO BE NERVOUS TRY TO GET ATTENTION THE VISA
OFFICER IN YOUR ANSWERS.

hi, first be sure that all interviews are computerized it
means that they have all previous applicatin answers on
your database so whenever and wherever u apply again the
consulate officer will give you same answers
my advice for u is to apply again and dont prepare
different answers it means that you lie
your purpose for this visa is tourist not more
if you apply for study visa its totally different
so say the truth and never lie

Hi Deepthi, Koushik here.. My suggestion is "Plesae dont
give genric answers to the questions put out by the visa
counsellor". If you been asked for the reason for arriving
to USA - you may say : I hve been enrolled for MBA in a
Business school in India and my friend is presently doing
her MBA in a business school. (say some business school
name and refer ur bro as ur frd). Also say to the counsellor
that I am going to meet my friend and understand the
concepts follwed by the US business school so that It may
help you in ur studies.

Hi,I'm Aida a permanent public school teacher in the Department of Education.Me and my daughter Sarah who is a permanent teacher in DepEd too we're invited by her boyfriend to visit his family because as I told him that before they will get married I should have to know the family bacground of his family and so he decided to support us in applying for a visit visa.We had an interview last Dec.21,2009 in the US embassy Manila and we're not given a visa because as I realized that we did not prove the consulate that we're really return to the Philippines after the visit. My question is can we still have a second interview next month to prove that we 're really return because we are apermanent public school teachers and we are stable in our job only I just have to know the family background of the guy can we have another chance next week pls using the same purpose in visiting?I would be very happy for your quick response.

My sister-in-law is giving birth with my first nephew and first grandchild for my parents in a few months in the US. I am a single lawyer with the government and my parents are both retired government employees. Both of my brothers are american citizens. We want to take a short vacation and also to witness my nephews' birth. My parents and I went for a visa interview recently and were denied. The consulate only asked us few questions; 1. are you the only child left in the philippines? yes sir because I work here in the philipines. 2. And both of your parents are retired? yes sir. Then he said, Unfortunately, I cannot approve your application because you fail to show strong ties in the Philippines. We intend to apply again. Just in case the consul will asked us, what changed between the time of our first interview and now, can I politely say that we were not given the chance to show our strong ties in the philippines? How soon can we apply again? Is it better for us to have separate interviews, I alone and my parents together?
