A issue is fixed for a mobile phone which does not show the
saved name of the incoming call number,how to do regression
testing for the following scenarios,give me 10 test cases for
the scenarios?????

save a contact to SIM location and receive a MT call and
then change to phone memory,

Well I m nt very much sure abt it..... Bt i wud like to give it a try :)
There can be diff scenario's like:
1)DUT is already in a call state (MT/MO) then he receives a MT call.
2) DUT is in multimedia application(slide show , video/song playing ) and then he receives a call.
3) DUT receives a MT call from unknown number-> Tester saves the number from call log -> Number updates/not
4) same number is saved by two names -> Dut shows any name/number.
5) mobile receives a call from a contact saved in mobile -> delete the contact -> again receive call from same number

1.Save the contact only in SIM and check whether the MT
displays name while receiving a call.
2. Save the contact in phone memory and change the sim.
Call to the new sim and check whether the MT displays name
while receiving a call.

1.During receiving files from bluetooth-> Receive a call
from saved number..
2.Receive a saved number call -> Change phone language ->

Here are some cases,
1. Make a call after editing the contact by change the name, change the ringtone
2. Delete the contact and save the number again with a different name.
3. Activate call waiting on the phone and call when the user is busy on another call.
4. Receive a call while the user watching any video or listening to music.
5. Receive a call while the user recieve a file through bluetooth.
6. Enter the number of the saved contact manually and make a call and verify whether the name is displaying or not.

name not appeared means caller line identification to be
activated. put our sim card and call and check neame
displayed or not? if ok ask them to chck n/w provider. if
not master reset or software upgradation of the mobile will
resolve this issue.

By checking the contacts we can fix this.
If the contact saved 2 names in mobile, then while receiving
the cal number will display.

Here are some cases as per my knowledge base
Hundred of such cases can be framed Only thing is hav an
complete idea on application
1) Get a normal MT call first and check for name of the
contact is displayed or not that covers ur basic test
2) If the name is displayed fine then go for same number ,
save with different name, Test with 3 or 4 different names
3)Get an MT call on top of Home page
4)Get an MT call on top of different app's home screen
5)Get an MT call on top of Home page with different contact
numbers saved in your DB with with different names
6)Get an MT call while playing Music app
7)Get an MT call while playing Games
8)Get an MT call while viewing gallery
9)Get an MT call while connecting internet
10)Get an MT call while browsing
11) Get an MT call with the variable length names
12)Get an MT call with name saved with special charecters
13)Get an MT call name saved with nubmers
