Till XIR2, there was no optional prompt. user needs to
enter the value in the prompt. All the prompt values are
mandatory. But from xi3.0 onwards, while creating prompts
in the report, it can be optional by selecing optional
checkbox while creating the prompt filter in query panel.

Optional prompts are newly introduced from xi 3.0 onwards.
These prompts are applicable for only webi reports.

Prompts are available in WEBI filters, we have so 6 options
in prompts in that optional promt is one. if we enable
optional prompt, user can select prompts or else he can run
report without selecting the prompts.

time of execution or refresh data from list of valus it
will ask enter new value for this time and if u another
time u will refresh then also it will ask enter values
like...
and main use of this is past value is not avaliable in the
report
