what is a lagging current ..

Answer / junaise

Current lag means that, the current is starting after the
voltage wave. If we rep he I and V as sine waves, if the
current is starting 45 deg after voltage its said as
"Current lag voltage by 45 degrees" but this can also write
as "Current led voltage by 315 degrees(360-45)". this can be
under stood if u plot these things.
