compared , it produces less cracks on setting than opc or
ordinary portland cement . ppc is thus preferred

admixtures which will prolong the setting of cement concrete
than its setting times.

PPC Means...Portland Pozzolana Cement
it is used in general concrete works

OPC Means ...Ordinary Portland Cement
it is used in all type of concrete works such as Reinforced concrete works

Both OPC & ppc are used in concrete.but the usage depends on the strength of the concrete that we should achieve. Generally for low strength concrete that is up to 25Kn/ m2 we use ppc and higher the concrete strength we use OPC

OPC is used for Concrete structure/also for masonry works
also/ But PPc can only used for Masonry works not fit to
use concrete structures. PPC is low heat of hydration no 1
for block/brick works/plastering/flooring works.
