change request is an enhancement or a change asked by user
for a particular application or product.
once the application is in production stage, or it is in
development stage, if we receive any change request from
user that should be carefully documented in design docs and
test cases....so that testers will not miss them with out
testing....which can help in reducing the defects.

The company has software running in its production environment that was designed and tested on its quad- processor servers with 16 GB of RAM. In order to meet budget constraints, its disaster recovery plan calls for this same software to be installed on functionally identical servers, which are dual-processor with 12 GB of RAM. The test group has been tasked with confirming that the software is going to work on the hardware proposed in the disaster recovery plan. -what testing types is being used in the scenario above?

If U have Test Cases already prepared and u have to just excute those test cases in a very short time then how will U decide which test cases has to be excuted first. Is there any technique ?

It will be a great help if any one will help on this issue, Three test cases got faied [TC#1, 2 and 3] and all are there in the same TestScript. For all the three failed testcases a bug is logged refrencing to the three failed testcase. In Next round of validation out of three two TC#2 and 3 got PASSED and TC#1 FAILED. I am confusssed if in this scenario if i mark the PASSED test case as PASS OR FAIl, as the the Defect will have BOTH PASS and FAIl at the same time. Please clarify How to handel this scenario.
