a definite period of time say 1min.

Impulse frequency withstanding capability is to withstand
the impulsive voltage levels for a predefined period of
time.say 1.2(rise time)/50 microsec(fall time),100KV
say(impulse voltage level)

how can i increase the excitation on full load running engine??

It is a three inch fan and i want it to rotate to other direction .I've tried cutting the wire and reconnecting them inverse like black to white and white to black ,but it won't start rotating when i plug it in that way.And then it works again when i rejoin the wire to the way it is. Why in medium voltage system(3.3kv to 33kv, neutral is earthed with either resistance, reactance or neutral grounding resistance?
