one of the nationalized bank n my probation period is over
bt still waiting 4 d confirmation letter so do i need to
submit d NOC and wht abt character certificate of present

I m a mba student, graduated b.com in 2005, did banking
diploma, now doining mba, have 2yrs of job experience.

plz help how to handle this type of questions:

Why SBI clerk being a mba student bcoz after mba u will get
better job (in respect of salary, designation) in pvt sector
banks or in other organisations?

In 2009, i was been selected for bank of baroda clerk, but
dint joined there due to some family prob that time and fees
for mba was given...i joined then it will be 5lac loss. but
now the scenario is different, colg will allow leave for job
since i will be in 3rd semester at the time of joining.
Would be wise to mention of my selection in BOB? or it will
give negative impression?

How to convince them? plz guide

interview is not a hard task

the main thing is written which u all have cleared .

Hi Nanda , The questions you asked are good but just a core knowledge is sufficient to them , we must go through SBI website , about us , what's new and sbi in news , service charges and other section which yo find interesting .

That will give a good bundle of knowledge to all of us and thats more then sufficient.

Rest i assume the questions will be asked as per candidates background qualification .

Hi Pranav , you are in 3rd year now .. even sem is goin rite now , so i assume u to be in 6 th sem now ...

when the joining letter comes , it may be by oct-nov. and u may be nearing 7 th sem end.

if you are selected you may extend your joining date , by a period of 6months under medical background or any other solid excuse . and even then if u r not able to join then again under very spl circumstances your joining may be further extended , even if you join after 6 months you may take leave 2-3 months for completing your studies . so don't worry about that , there are many loopholes .

and abt a engineer joining a bank .. that you have to convince by your own reasons , tailor them according to your personal likings , family back grnd and all , that's again not much difficult . read above queries and gather points to tailor ur answer

hey guys i attended my interview on 29th April in a delhi zone.They were asking so simple question that i was surprised. I preapred day and night for the interview collecting all the question from this link and other site as well as from GS book but they simply asked 1) tell us about ur family 2) about u 3) Why u want to join banking and not IT . 4) Advantages and disadvantages of computer. 5) Where is hawamahal. 6) about pink city 7) who discovered electron. 8) who invented telephone. that's all I think it was just waste of time preparing banking related questions.

hi frnd can anybody can explain me about this statement. i m confused that i m from up then how i will be able to apply and for which bank..... Candidates can apply for vacancies in one Bank / State only and will have to appear for written test from a centre of that particular state. For example, candidate applying to SBH Bank in Andhra Pradesh State can appear from Andhra Pradesh only.
