what is the diffrence between resistive load and capoasitive load.?..

Answer / amit

in pure resistive load, the load will consume only the
active power and there will be no reactive power ......
in capacitive load the reactive power will be supplied to
the network by the load as the current will lead the
voltage by 90 degres..

what is the diffrence between resistive load and capoasitive load.?..

Answer / jagadeeshraja.m

In Resistive load the angle between Voltage(E) & Current
(I)are in phase to each other, (ie,..) COS 0 = 1. So power
factor is always unity.
In Capacitive load, Current Leads the Voltage by the angle
of COS @.
