MCB WILL NOT TRIP,MCB TRIPS ONLY IN CASE OF SHORT CIRCUIT,

No the mcb may trips in only shortcircuit and over
currents.Eventhough 30 mA also causes the human beeing to
fatal accidents. For this we should use RCCB and ELCB.

MCB is designed on the principle of magnetic or heat
actuated tripping mechanism.The higher the current flowing
through the sensing circuit the faster it trips Whereas to
cause shock to human body a current as little as 10 ma is
enough and can be fatal
