How evaporation takes place in a cooling tower ?

water is cooling by releasing heat to surrounding due to which temperature of surrounding air increases and it relative humidity decreases. As its relative humidity decreases its tendency to carry water vapour increases and it carries water from surface layer by layer.
By this process the evaporation of cooling water occurs.
