What is the meaning of electricity? How it is being
produced? Can we store the electricity? When we produce
electricity what is the capacity of voltage current we are
getting? If we need 440 volts how to get it? In case, if we
want lower than 440 volts how to change it? Please answer?
Answer / sks
Flow of electrons in the conductive path is known as
electricity.
It is produced by an alternator.
We can store electricity in Battery & Capacitors.
Depending on Generator's rating & Capacity = KVA.
A 3 phase alternator can provide us 415 V AC as Line
Voltage.
We can take 1 phase voltage [Live Newtral]otherwise avr can
adjust it.

My question is whether bellow formula is correct to find bus size for 46kA for 0.5 second & what is RT in bellow formula. formula to calculate the size of busbar to withstand the thermal stresses due to currents with duration of 0.2 sec to 5 sec. Sp = RT( I x I x t) / K Where Sp – is the cross sectional area of bus bar in millimeters. I - is the value of AC fault current. t - is the operating time of disconnecting device in seconds. K – is the factor depending on the material of the conductor, insulation and initial and final temperature. Value of ‘k’ for copper is 143.
The metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear is subdivided into three types: 1. metal-clad switchgear and controlgear; 2. compartmented switchgear and controlgear 3. cubicle switchgear and controlgear. What is the main differnence between them. State some example.
