what is toughest metal to weld of tungston or cast iron?..

The question is wide open for different interpretations !

Its easy to weld cast Iron in comparison with Tungsten, as
Tungsten Melting temp is higher than cast Iron.
Caste Iron posses hardships for welding due to its soluble
carbon content , how ever with heating and Nickel it can be
made weldable.

How ever if the question is which is the toughest
metal !! There comes the trick , Engineering material
you mean then its Titanium other wise there are lot
many exotic metals which are tough to weld ( Not
soldering / brazing)
