because work is done on the system so it should be positive
and heat is transferred from source to sink so it shd also
be positive

hai karthik ur explanation was wrong,work done on the
system generally taken as -ve,in heat engine work is done
by the engine by utilising heat energy so it is +ve,heat
transfer is +ve as it transfer from source to sink.
