160000 Nil
160001 to 300000 - 10%
300001 to 500000 - 20%
More than 500001 - 30%
No Cess & surcharge

For Female
190000 Nil
190000 to 300000 - 10%
300001 to 500000 - 20%
More than 500001 - 30%
No Cess & surcharge

TDS rates on salary for FY 2010-11 is as under
Male
Upto Rs.1,60,000/- Nil
Between Rs.1,60,001/- to Rs.5,00,000/- 10 %
Between Rs.5,00,001/- to Rs.8,00,000/- 20 %
Above Rs.8,00,001/- 30 %

Female
Upto Rs.1,90,000/- Nil
Between Rs.1,90,001/- to Rs.5,00,000/- 10 %
Between Rs.5,00,001/- to Rs.8,00,000/- 20 %
Above Rs.8,00,001/- 30 %

* No Surcharges but Edn.cess of 2% + H.Edn cess 1% is to be added.

If income >= 10,00,000 10% S.C.

2% Edu.Cess on Taxable income + S.C.
1% S&H.Cess on Taxable income + S.C.

For Individual - FeMale
UP to 180000 - NIL
from 1,80,000 to 3,00,000 - 10%
from 3,00,000 to 5,00,000 - 20%
From 5,00,000 - 30%
If income >= 10,00,000 10% S.C.
