i rejected on 21st june now i have a date on 11th july.. if they asked this question...... what did you do since then?

Can i get entry into US from any other state other than Texas.i intend to go to my sis's place from where i will go to my university. My travel agent told i will not be allowed. Hi My Company initiated L1B for me.There is a spell change in my certificates,my name is Thejomayi Kalla ,in SSC and passport it appears same.but from intermediate to PG it is like Tejomayi K.Will it be a problem during interview.Please Advice.
