Currently iam working in a small concern as a test
engineer, i have 3.6 yrs exp in manual testing, currently
iam looking for other concern, but some my friends saying
that testing is no longer, plz switch over to designing,
but iam interested in only testing, i want to know whether
the Testing has a boom or not? plz guide me

People have wrong perception.As long there is s/w there
will be testing. Since there are lot of people available in
the market for testing and so the requirement may not sync.
The market is stable now and people see it as downfall. My
advice to all testers is upgrade your skills. Learn
Automation tools,framwork,do certifications like ISTQB
foundation and advanced levels, ITIL V3 certification etc.
This will help you in your career advancement.
