Within any recruitment function, there is a common cycle of
tasks.
There are three main areas:
1.preparation,
2.selection, and
3.appointment.
1.Preparation : It is concerned with the identification of a
vacancy, the authorization to take some action, and running
one or more recruitment activities.
2.Selection : It begins with the receipt of applications and
ends with the issuing of offer or rejection letters.
3.Appointment : It takes the applicant from the recruitment
process to employee administration where the initial tasks
include entering terms and conditions and payroll information.
