the type of testing done in installation testing is static
testing.i.e.we will just verify the documents and check
whether we are able to install the product according to the
guide lines given.so here we will be doing only
verification.
the type of testing done in system testing is dynamic
testing.here we will execute test cases.

If you are handling a product testing and if there are around 100 test cases and in them few test cases are failed then at the end of the day how will you treat whether the product is pass/fail.? consider the failed test cases are in functional requirements.
