How do we determine if a hybridoma is producing antibody?

ATCC tests culture supernatants for the presence of
antibody of the specific isotype. Immunodiffusion testing
is performed for rat and hamster antibodies and ELISA
testing for human antibodies. A rapid strip test is used
for mouse antibodies. Each lot of each hybridoma is tested.
