How do we determine if a hybridoma is producing antibody?..

Answer / guest

ATCC tests culture supernatants for the presence of
antibody of the specific isotype. Immunodiffusion testing
is performed for rat and hamster antibodies and ELISA
testing for human antibodies. A rapid strip test is used
for mouse antibodies. Each lot of each hybridoma is tested.
