During a temperature rise test of a bus duct, it is fed
with 415 volts at 2000 amperes. Why dont we get an electric
shock if we touch the bus bars?
Answer Posted / shivakumara
Dear it's very low voltage generally 5.5 or 10volt will apply and for full load rating of busduct,
One more thing is that we will short 3 termilas or busbars in HEAR RUN TEST, due to that temperature will rise upto stabilizing we need to check accordingly with standards that you referring IEEE or IEC
