how to estimate plastering quantity if the given object is in circular. 12 mm thick both side 1:3
example= i have 8.15 m2 how to estimate quantity

Answer Posted / hanamareddy maddur

01) volume of plaster=area of plaster*thickness of plaster=8.15*.012=.0978 m2
02) 20 % extra for joint filling &wastage=.0978*.2+.0978=.117m2
03) 1/3rd volume increase to get the dry volume=1/3*.117+.117=.156m2
04) sum of proportion-1:3(1+3)=4
05) cement qty=cement proportion*volume of mortar /sum of proportion
06) cement qty=1/4*.156=.039*28.2=1.1 bag
07) sand qty=sand proportion*volume of mortar/sum of proportion
08) sand qty=3/4*.156=.12m3
