how can change 10mm dia @275 c/c bar spacing to 12 mm

Spacing is directly proportional to square of diameter, so
X/275 = 12^2/10^2
X= 396 mm c/c
as per IS 456:2000, spacing should not be greater than 300mm
X = 300 mm
