What is Difference between Bench Set & Operating Range of
Control Valve?
Answer Posted / praveen kumar
bench set is called based on the line pressure, control valve actuator spring adjustment....if control valve spring range 0.4-1.0 bar means ..the control valve will start to opened at 0.4bar instrument air pressure.before or after 0.4bar it should not start to open, at 1.0 bar the valve should be fully open(max travelling range of valve)...
Operating range is called as positioner output 0.2 to 1.0 bar...
