.What do you mean by Turbine Dump.

Answer Posted / suraja

They are mainly used for two purposes 1-when turbine gets tripped msg stop valves and reheated stop valves will be closed in order to evacuate the steam from hp turbine it is used to dump into the condenser.
2-when turbine is being rolled these lines are used to maintain or increase steam parameters such as temperature and also it will allow a Drain condensate to condenser. It is taken from crh line to the condenser after unit synchronised it will close in auto those dump lines will be provided with spray valves.
