How to calculate the quantity of
materials for M20 grade concrete

Answer Posted / mandar g

FOR M20 grade of concrete the ratio is 1:1.5:3 or 1:1/2:3

Cement = 15.4/(1+1.5+3) = 2.8 cum
i.e. Cement = 2.8/ 0.0347 = 80.7 kgs
where, 0.0347=50/1440 One bag of cement (50kg) & 1cum weight oof Ordinary Portand Cement = 1440kg

Fine Aggregate=2.8*1.5=4.2cum

Coarse Aggregate=2.8*3=8.4cum
