How we Use DC Power in Transformers? is it possible ?
Answer Posted / mithun manna
Yes .we can use DC power in case of transformer, but for that we need to apply high frequency DC voltage across windings that means there are high frequency on and off period for the applied voltage across winding. It should be on upto knee point of the B-H curve of the material . otherwise cord will saturate, and it will damage. And there flux eeseting option during off period.
